Description	The present book contains the description of the economic model, along with its methodological justification, the results of its alternative runs produced for various scenarios representing different economic policy options, and the analysis of these results. This main line of presentation is set against the background of the more “usual” analysis of the phenomena related to the transformation, as well as their perceptions, and the interplay of the two. A separate chapter contains a survey of models pertinent to the Polish transformation period. Side by side with the main economic model a modest demographic submodel is shown, which served as the source of certain data for the economic part. (English)
